We know these have been trying times and we appreciate your patience. We have been tracking the CDC/NJ State guidelines and preparing our staff to make this the safest experience possible.
A FEW THINGS TO HELP YOU PREPARE FOR YOUR RETURN
*No one with the following symptoms is permitted to enter the fitness center: cough, fever over 100 degrees Fahrenheit, rash, loss of sense of smell or taste, stomach distress, or body aches. *If you have traveled to any of the states listed on the state of NJ travel advisory- you will not be permitted to enter the Fitness Center until you have quarantined for 14 days after your return. *Life Center staff and all members are required to use cloth face covering at all times, in accordance with the State of New Jersey’s re-opening guidelines.
Heightened Cleaning Measures: We have implemented heightened cleaning measures to ensure the health and well-being of our employees and members. We have trained our staff to ensure proper and frequent cleaning strategies. We also need the help of our members to guarantee a safe environment by wiping down the equipment after each use and returning all the equipment/weights to their proper spaces. We have changed our hours of operations to allow for proper sanitization of our fitness equipment, bathrooms, and hard surfaces.
New Hours of Operation:
Social Distancing Guidelines: Due to state guidelines, everyone must practice social distancing and remain six (6) feet apart while in the facility to the greatest extent possible. We are asking you to follow any stickers on equipment and/or posted signs regarding room capacity (bathrooms, stretching and circuit rooms). We understand it can be difficult to social distance but we are asking you to leave at least 1 machine between you and someone else on the fitness floor. In the circuit room, we are asking that there be at least 2 machines between you and someone else.
New Check-in Procedures: Upon your first visit back, you will be asked to sign a waiver. You will have your temperature checked and will need to answer a questionnaire on each visit. We ask that if there is another member ahead of you during check-in please practice social distancing, while waiting patiently. All members are required to check-in and check-out so we can appropriately monitor capacity.
Capacity: For the time being, we are limiting our fitness center to 25% capacity. As a courtesy to other members, we ask that you limit the length of your workout to no longer than 90 minutes per visit. If we have reached our capacity, we will ask that you wait in your car until a staff member contacts you when a spot has become available.
Locker Rooms: For the time being, as per state guidelines, locker room use is limited to hand washing and restroom use. There are key/coat hangers in the fitness area, but please plan accordingly when you are bringing items into the fitness center. The facility and its employees are not responsible for lost or missing items.
Fitness Classes: Classes will be via Zoom. At this time, there will be no in person classes. Links will be provided with active memberships. Please speak with our staff for further instruction.
Billing: Our staff will be able to assist you with any billing questions on the first day we open (10/19). If you had a credit from March, we will apply that upon your return and our staff will let you know when your next payment is due.
